Hi there and Welcome to my Blog. My name is Ross Davis, and this is the one place that all those who attend our Duet Images Camera and Photography Seminars can see the latest updates of Camera Gear news (without the technical jargon), Photography Tips and feedback on anything to do with our Education, or what you have found useful to help take better Photos. Reach me Ross Davis at education@duetimages.com or post your questions here

February 2012 - Photography Training Courses

Here are the next scheduled dates for our Photography Day Workshops.

Our next "Introduction to Digital Photography (101)" will be held on
Saturday February 4th 2012

As you can see from our latest Seminars page, this course involves a number of hands-on exercises so we can practice what we learn, and get feedback on our first results.  Vanessa and I provide immediate feedback and tips for improvement on your photographs.  Course notes, lunch and refreshments are also included throughout the day. This day workshop assumes no prior knowledge of photography, and cuts through all the jargon.

Our next "Improving Photographic Technique (102)" will be held on
Saturday February 18th 2012
Following on from our 101 workshop, this makes more use of our Cameras "Manual" mode, and really gets us creative and using light in unusual ways to add 'drama' to our shots.  Attendance at the above 101 workshop, or basic familiarity with your camera is desired to make the most of this day.  Please contact us to discuss which seminar is best suited to you.

Our students always tell us how much fun these days turn out to be, and the confidence that people acquire as they master their camera becomes obvious as we look at the results we get.  There is nothing like trying something out to make something new 'stick in our minds'.

To book your place, please call us on 9562 5003, or email us at enquiries@duetimages.com

Vanessa and I look forward to seeing you again this year, and if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Cheers
Roscoe
